The Operating Foundry

Where visionary founders forge scalable companies.

Build the operational systems your business needs to scale — without you being the bottleneck.

You're the visionary. But the machine still needs you to run.

You've built something powerful — but it breaks if you're not in the middle of everything.

Hiring, managing, delivering, tracking… all roads lead back to you. That's not scale. That's survival.

"I can't take a vacation without panic."
"I know what to do, but no one else executes."
"Costs are climbing and I'm too deep in the weeds to fix it."

It's not your fault. You were never taught to operate.

But now it's time to build the company that can grow without you.

About

I've spent my career turning chaos into clarity — for some of the most complex businesses on the planet.

Justin Witt, Founder of The Operating Foundry

I'm Justin Witt — a former Goldman Sachs operations manager and the executive who led operational strategy and scale at Filevine, one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the U.S.

At Filevine, I served as VP of Strategy & Efficiency and later as SVP overseeing global post-sales operations. I was responsible for scaling everything after the sale: Customer Success, Support, Professional Services, AR, and Training. I designed and implemented systems that supported $150M+ in ARR and hundreds of thousands of users — without sacrificing customer experience or burning out teams.

I rebuilt onboarding through partner delivery, standardized the renewal and success processes for 5,000+ accounts, and created scalable reporting frameworks used at the board level. I didn't just manage chaos — I installed the systems that replaced it.

Earlier in my career at Goldman Sachs, I led global equity derivatives operations and built cross-continental teams inside one of the most operationally complex environments in the world.

I help founders stop duct-taping their business together and start building a machine that scales.

The Operating Foundry is the system I built for exec teams — now built for you.

Let's forge your company.
